What is fotosynthesis?
It is Ambitious passion for photography, Understanding the nature of light, superior technical and interactional skills. These are the qualities that make photographer Lauri Mannermaa stand out.
Having masters degree in both photography and psychology he is at best in editorial photography and feature stories that demand a deep understanding of a subject. Being second to none in technical/lighting and digital craftsmanship, he is able to handle demanding projects.
Lauri is based in Helsinki but he has had assignments around the world and he works fluently globally. His clients include major Finnish companies, magazines and organizations.

Studio is located just a few minutes away from the downtown Helsinki.It`s perfect for shootings that benefit from intimate atmosphere and is fully equipped for all lighting needs and digital workflow.
It is always interesting and refreshing to meet new people. Editorial portraits are my favorite assignments.
The Tyni family has raised 19 kids in harsh conditions of Nort-East Finland. They have conquered the challenges of primitive conditons and bitter weather with great sense of humour and with keeping their love alive.
